You’d think that I would get even more done on the weekends than on any other days. Actually, I work a regular job on weekends, so it’s really no different than any other day.
Having (and executing) a plan is probably the most important thing in any business. The up side is you know what to do everyday, can measure results, and will be generally more productive. The downside is you may not get to motivated to do more than what you set out to do in the plan. The plan I’m working on everyday takes about 6 hours. It’s very hard for me to do much more than that – mostly because I’m still holding a day job. But there is so much more that can and should be done. I have my blog ideas, pic posts, and keyword research on the back burners.
I hope everyone had a good weekend. It was particularly nice here in the DC metro area with temperatures in the low 70′s. I got caught up on my tv shows and saw a good movie – Land of the Lost. If you like Will Ferrel, it’s worth seeing.
As for what I got done this weekend, no more or less than what I do everyday. Create a free site, pick one of the galleries for tgp, and then submit using chameleon link list and tgp submitter.

Submitting was a little more difficult this weekend. Particularly on the milf niche. About 50 more sites came up in the submit list. After doing the submits, I had a very high 10% reject rate. I selected the ones I thought I could resubmit manually, and was able to get about 8 of the 23 resubmitted successfully. Most of them were description length errors or captcha errors. The rest were mainly their script not seeing my 2257 link and blacklisting webair. I thought I figured out the 2257 problem last week. Basically the anchor text I used for the 2257 was the problem. I used the same anchor text this week, so not sure why it’s getting rejected again. I’ll revisit those sites and see how their current listings display the 2257 link.
I have one rejection from a site that has blacklisted my domain. No sure if they mean my hosting company or my domain nexusgold.com. Based on the rules and warnings on every submit, I’m not surprised. Just about everyone threatens to blacklist you for violating a single rule. That’s why it’s very important to take your time when submitting, particularly when using a powerful tool like chameleon.
It’s too easy to get into a routine and click things before reading. I know on occasion I have accidentally selected the wrong category, submitted more than once in a 24hour window, or some other stupid thing that’s easy to do when mass submitting. You have to be sure to scroll back to the top of the page sometimes and look for the “link submitted” text so you don’t submit twice and get blacklisted. My first day or two I didn’t do this.
The most tiring part of the whole process is when you have to resubmit the same form 3 or 4 times. Usually because I can’t read the captcha, but sometimes for other reasons.
Anyway, being a trooper, I plug through it till I got everything done, and did all the email confirmations. I’m seeing that it takes up to 5 or 6 days to get approved, not the 1 or 2 days as often promised. Not that it matters, I’m submitting everyday so should be getting listed continually somewhere everyday.
As for traffic, it is still trending up. So until traffic begins to plateau, I’m assuming submits from day 1 are still under review and trickling in as they get accepted.
The only big news I have to report is that Tommy has approved me to paid partner status. He gave me some words of encouragement, a compliment, and a tip. I appreciate his personalized response. All I need do now is deposit some money into my epassporte so I can pay him. It’s $100 for 1/year, 3/submits per day. Hopefully I can begin submitting to his site this week. This should have a huge effect on my traffic and hopefully I can convert that traffic. Wish me luck!
