Learned a few more lessons the last two days. I’m trying to build up partners with trusted webmasters. I found out from one of the webmasters I contacted that they were blocking my sites. Primarily for it’s directory structure. Basically they want the free site to be in a single directory like this:
/freesite/blondes/index.html
/freesite/blondes/main.html
/freesite/blondes/gallery1.html
/freesite/blondes/gallery2.html
/freesite/blondes/2257.html
Using chameleon submitter by default creates a single directory for the index.html like this:
/freesite/blondes/index.htm.
/freesite/main.html
/freesite/gallery1.html
/freesite/gallery2.html
/freesite/2257.html
There is an option in chameleon to copy additional pages to the directory so that it will create a single directory for each complete free site. However, I’m having a little trouble with the relative html links. Things are just not lining up. I may have to hard link everything to get it to work properly. This is generally better for seo purposes anyway (as I remember from long time ago, may not apply anymore), so I need to start building sites with hard links from now on.
I made a simple mistake (i’m assuming this is a minor error that won’t get me blacklisted) this morning of choosing the wrong thumbnail for my tgp submits. I don’t think it will be a major problem, since it depicts a blonde doing bj on a huge penis. Just that the actual gallery has a different blonde coming down on the same guy. I have a few confirmations already, so hopefully most tgp owners won’t mind this minor error.
I also have a new reject error to report. Basically one of the sites that my sponsor owns is blacklisted from a single tgp I submit too this morning. I’ll have to see if they have blacklisted any other trafficcashgold sites.
Other than that, fairly routine. I did lose a day of submitting because I spent hours trying to figure out relative links. I was so inefficient last night. I almost ruined my entire site up to the root domain. That would have killed all of my submits up to this day!
Traffic from Tommy’s is definitely pickup up. It is now the number 1 source of traffic, producing more than all my other sources combined. Not sure what to expect, but I’m guessing about 1500 visits daily to my galleries. Don’t take that number too seriously, it’s just a guess. If I submit everyday to the same category, I would guess about 60,000 visits over 30 days. But I’m going to submit to different categories, so numbers could be much higher or lower in 30 days. Again, don’t really take these numbers too seriously, it’s just a guess based on web stats that I’m not comfortable looking at yet.
Still no sales. However, my search engine keyword traffic is growing. So even though I’m not getting direct sales from the submissions, I may get them via a search engine. I’ll call these indirect sales, since all the sites I’m building wouldn’t exist otherwise. So it’s important to do all the onpage seo tricks you know of. I primarily do H1, title tag, and keyword in the filename stuff. I need to include more keyword density in the text, better anchor text links that point to my own sites, etc… For more seo stuff, just goto seobook.com for more tips.
