Rather than make every post title start with the day number, I’m gonna just title everything so that it represents the content of the post. I’ll still post regularly, if not daily. Besides, I was starting to lose track of what day it was.

Somehow I find myself buried in the forums everyday. I don’t know how much time I spend in those, but it’s probably way too much. Between that and checking stats every 15 minutes, it’s amazing I get any work done at all.

Last night I submitted my first gallery for pimproll. This is a sponsor that I read about over at howling wulf’s blog. Pimproll has over 300 sites to promote. I joined up to expand my sponsor base and free content as recommended by tommy 2 weeks back. Hopefully I’ll be able to convert their portfolio better than I’m doing with trafficcashgold. Don’t get me wrong, trafficcashgold is awesome. I have yet to see a better affiliate area and tools. It’s just that I’ve sent 1000+ clicks there and still have no sales. I know, I know… 1:5000 is the norm. So it’s too early to pass judgement, particularly since I’m in no place to do so. Still, it doesn’t hurt to start diversifying.

I finally got a listing in thehun. After 12 days from the original submit. Traffic to my site has no less than doubled today. It’s too bad my sites and galleries are pretty green, meaning they probably won’t convert any of that wonderful traffic. But with a little luck, maybe I’ll finally get a sale to trafficcashgold.

I really need to get my galleries converting. Although I don’t have that much traffic, I think I could be getting more sales. So I’m gonna start analyzing some new ways to create galleries, particularly the text.
I was following this thread at greenguyandjim forum and realized I may be doing things all wrong when building my pages. Basically I’ve been mimicking how the sponsor builds galleries. They are loaded with “click here”, “join now”, “get the full video”, etc… Is it possible the sponsors don’t know what they are doing?

I also picked up in the forums this morning something about greenguy weekly chat where they talk about working the adult business. Of course I’ll probably be working at my regular job and won’t be able to chime in. But I’m gonna try.

I’ve reduced my tgp recipts in chameleon to just 2 per page instead 3. This has all but eliminated the “too many links” rejects I was getting. I made a stupid mistake last night that affects some of my submits. I reported 15 thumbs when the gallery actually had 13. Most of the tgp scripts don’t ask for the number of thumbs as they count it for you. However, I did see a few confirmations where it reported the 15. I was able to change it to 13 for the manual submits, but I was too late for the auto submits.

The predominant reject last night was “not enough pics”. Many tgps require 15 thumbs. Tommys requires 16 which explains why he’s not using all of my galleries. I went in and disabled a few of the galleries in my partner account with him. Normally chameleon would not try to submit to tgps that require 15, but I accidentally put 15 in the form, so it just blindly when on about it’s work. This is the problem when doing things in bulk, it multiplies everything, whether good or bad. There’s an old saying in the computer business …”garbage in, garbage out”.
