So I’m sitting here near the end of my forth month and trying to figure out what I did right in November that yielded my best month, despite November being only my second month. Totemcash did particularly well that month, putting me in the top 100 webmasters.
So I’m digging into my stats and reviewing my galleries. I found two that did very well in terms of installs and conversions.
Nikki Case – (ironically I didn’t like this gallery when I made it! – see this post)

Installs were 1:13 and sales were an incredible 1:5 per install. Compare that to my current January stats of 1:25 installs and 1:13 per install. The incredible thing is I’ve sent about 5 times more traffic in Dec and Jan (around 300k visis) than I did in November (around 60k visits) across all sites.
Top traffic by far came from freeones.com. Freeones is the #1 pornstar celeb only tgp/mgp. I submit to them whenever I have the pornstars name which is about once or twice per week.
No I can’t say for sure that freeones sent the traffic that converted, since it’s hard to track with totemcash where the installs and conversions are coming from. Still, seems logical to assume freeones worked based on that data.
I also got a ton of traffic from thehun on another virtuagirl gallery, but it didn’t get anywhere near the installs and conversions.
These gallery yielded approximately 1:35 installs and 1:36 conversions per install. This gallery was rejected by freeones so it tells me that thehun’s traffic doesn’t work for virtuagirl.
So basically, for virtuagirl – pick a popular pornstar and post on freeones.

I hav eto admit, I hav enot seen a sale for almost 10 days, dispite submittign 2 x a day and having partner accoutns with Bone Me, RR, Tommy and Shemp… I am ery discouraged. I figured first 4-6 weeks would be lite but comin gup on week 7 now this is getting frustrating.
0-96 with totem, 0-2000 with CCbill (2 affiliates primarily) then trying a coupl ethat others seem to have luck with and nothing… I am not sure (today) that this is something I will continue with as 4-6 hours a day I woul dhope 1 sale a week is not unreasonable…
gona take a step back, maybe put 1-2 hours a day into this for a bit as I decide if this is something worth the rffort now.

Don’t burn yourself out. Take a break. Life is too short. I don’t know anyone that went to their grave saying “Gee, I wish I worked harder…”.
You should have some people at the greenguyandjim forum look at your galleries. Maybe they can make some recommendations. You’ve seen everything I do, and my stuff is not particularly that good.
I’ll do a post later today. I had a rough and scary week in my personal life that kept me from working the business. I have a lot of catching up to do. Things are almost back to normal.

Congrats! I’m surprised you weren’t feeling a sale coming on. Sometimes I just know I’m gonna make a sale, and bang! – I get one.
I wouldn’t throw in the towel just yet, unless you really hate making and submitting galleries. Maybe you just need to cut back a bit so it doesn’t become a chore.
I enjoy making galleries, and chameleon submitter combined with the chameleon email confirming makes submitting pretty painless.

I haven’t posted in a while because I kind of took time off which i know is bad to do but Im gonna be coming back stronger than ever in a week or so. Im looking to buy several partner accounts and I may even start a BBW TGP. Even though i didnt really do anything at all in January I still made 2 or 3 sales so I think I have finally fixed whatever I was doing wrong before. I just cant wait until I get these partner accounts So i can see If I can really pull in some cash.

Nice on the new blog stuff, I am still trying to figure out a simple blog, I think I am close but its crappy looking IMO.

Yes, I also applied for a free partner account to world sex over a month ago. I still haven’t heard anything either.
The blog stuff does take some time, but once it’s setup, you won’t have to touch again for a month. In theory, you could set it up to run forever, but one should never leave a site unattended for that long.

Valuable lesson today, got listed on the hun on my secondary shard hosting domain, Site Vally, 2 hours in my account is suspended for 24 hours due to “taking up to much resources” not too happy with these people and considering I spent $51 up front for a year of hosting I think its $50 out the window. I have an account at host gator too, had 3 hun listings there, never an issue.
Pretty sad.
Also, sales are rough, 1:2500 type converts

I know how you feel about the hosting. Happened to me on hostgator actually. Someone tried to spam my blog and ran up the resources beyond what hostgator thought was reasonable. They put me back up the next day after installing wp supercache to ease the burden. But I’ve read about others using a virtual shared hosting plan that was supposedly unlimited, but not really. I think major48 said he’s done over 100gig in bandwidth on hostgator no problems. I hit 40-60gig a few times with no problems.
Don’t feel like the money is wasted. Shared hosting accounts are great for blogs so long as you install the wp supercache plugin. What you can do in the meantime is change the nameserver on the domain that you submitted to thehun and point it to hostgator. Then add the domain to hostgator and upload the gallery on the hostgator server and you should be back up in 10 minutes.
I think many would say your conversions aren’t bad at all. However, you probably are not getting the ctr you should be. Try running your gallery by the medium pimpim forum like I did. They’ll be glad to take a look and make suggestions. I just made a post to my blog today about some of the galleries I had reviewed over there.
You have so much invested and worked very hard. It would be a shame to give up. Maybe just scale back. Don’t renew all those partner accounts, just submit until they expire. Limit your submits to free places that have good traffic – thehun, persiankitty, and freeones. Then work on blogs for awhile. I’m gonna make a list of the places I get the most traffic from, but those three I mentioned account for 90%.

as far as scaling back, for me its not easy, when i got time i submit, look at new sponsors, try new things… im considering changing the TGP project to tubes but the BW will probably sink me at hostgator
I really want this to work to some positive degree im not looking to get rich in a year bu tif i can slowly over 3-5 years make this into a legit bizz id be happy to bail out of corporate slavery.
So no sales today, major set back with the hun listing, so i got a new VPS host and submitted 3 galleries. I am trying shemales for the rest of FEB (along with the mainstream stuff that’s converted).
