Today I thought I’d take a closer look at all the blog directories I could find. Here are the multi-submit pages that I have:

I setup a new blog for virtuaguy called Hot Guys Stripping
I then went to each of the above directory submitters, filled out the forms, and added the recips to my blog.
I then took all the recip links and checked the page rank for the root domain of each blog directory – 77 in all. Here is the list:

As you can see, many of them have a decent page rank, so the link juice will be very good if you get listed on the homepage. I spot checked some of the inner pages where my blog would be listed and they have a similar page rank number, so no linkjuice is lost there either.
I did a post earlier for my fling blog where I posted some of the initial traffic I was getting after submitting to these directories. Just to recap, I got some traffic initally, but nothing the last 2 days. What I’m doing differently this time is I put all the recips in the sidebar so that the links appear on the homepage – and every page on my blog for that matter. On my fling blog, I put all the links on a seperate (but visible) links page. Many of the blog directories couldn’t find their recip, hence I assume they didn’t list my blog. Hopefully this time will be different.

I haven’t recieved any other email from the other directories, so I can only assume they have listed my blog or it is still in review. A few of the blogs run a toplist style directory where your blog gets listed higher up based on how much traffic you send. Since they don’t give you a specific url, it must detect it via the server’s http referral data.
The whole point of this is not to get a lot of traffic from the directories, but to get better SE ranking for the keywords you’re targeting. You can go even further and explore some of the abc and abcd linking strategies, but I just went with a simple 2 way linking strategy. I’ve read google already can decipher those linking schemes and discounts them accordingly. Who knows, really?
On another note. Virtuagirl continues it’s momentum early on this month.
I’m up $86 for Totemcash, and I made a sale on fling for $35 – for a total of $121. Not a bad start. You can also see that my new “Hot Guys Stripping” blog has already sent 10 clicks! It’s getting pretty decent SE Traffic.
I haven’t submitted anything the last three days. The good news is that it is time to submit to thehun again. If you submit every 4 days, you should be able to submit 8 galleries for thehun to review and list. I usually get at least 1 gallery listed each month, sometimes 2. I’m a little disappointed that I don’t get more listed since I started making pretty galleries. I also make time to submit to freeones (review how to get traffic from freeones) – which means a little more research.

I got 3 sales on the 30th, 31st and 1st but dry since then, I track my month 22nd – 22nd so pretty good start for my 4th month with those and I got a %49 sale yesterday from ccbill.
I have 20 free blogs up now half are with new sponsors I don’t plan to submit other than 1 for some lick backs, sorta experimenting on what kind and how much traffic I can get from the free thing. I am going to cool down on making them a bit as they take 2 hours and submitting takes me a few hours I just can’t spend 4-6 hours a day yet.
With your success on Totem I am close to trying the pretty gallery experiment to see if I get significantly better results, maybe tonight I can spend a few hours making one if I do ill post it here.
I post about 8 to the hun a month too and seem to get 1 per month listed I think he tracks the submits and tries to spread it out. I got a VG gallery listed don the overflow pages last week but no sales yet.

I just use front page and have some free tools to make thimbs and resize. The firs t3 moths seem to be quantaty no tquality although my alleries are respectable for what i see out there.

Try to make static blog pages for hun and mobile type gallery. Then you do not have to wait for 4 days. I got gallery and blog accepted and listed (got 1 sale:) my very first galleries with hun!). Good thing with blog for hun that you can link ti to your main blog.

Hi everyone! Only two sales (OnlyCuties and TeenDreams) this month so far, and one rebill (Club Seventeen). So not so good. Having said that, I’m spending a bit less time than usual and not submitting, except once a month or so to The Hun. In fact, submitted a gallery to The Hun yesterday, and also had one listed there on the 3rd. No direct sales for that sponsor arose, but the two sales I did make happened to be on that day. May be coincidence, maybe not, who knows?
